It's been a while since we last did this. So let's do it.

 

WIN-A-PAINTING CONTEST (#4)

I am announcing a contest that will run for 2 weeks. For every friend
that you refer to my email newsletter, I'll enter you into a random
drawing for a free painting! There is no limit to the number of entries
you can have. Your friend will ALSO be entered.

Instructions:

Step 1: Your friend must first sign up for my email newsletter at my
website  .
Step 2: Then she/he must send a quick note (from the same email they
signed up with) to [email protected]. In this note they must
provide YOUR name and email so I know who referred them. At this point,
you and your friend will be entered into the contest as a pair. (if
your pair gets chosen, you each get a prize)

That's it! One caveat: your friend must sign up under her/his own free
will. Seems obvious but... just thought I'd make sure. I will make the
random drawing and announce the winners on November 25th.

 

The winning pair gets to choose 1 prize each from the following 5
options (original subscriber has first choice):

 

 

 

 


 

 

A new figure painting is finished.

 

First stage. Messy start, yeesh. Head too small.

 
 

 

Next stage. Changing proportions a bit and correcting the angles of the
pose.

 
 

 

Next stage. Exaggerating areas in shadow and making it uber-warm. (the
color was much colder in reality)
