Dear Subscribers,

Greetings!

My 4mp relic of a camera finally froze up and keeled over (it served me
well for many a year) so I replaced it, hooray. Fun with panorama:

What a spectacular view from Bernal Heights in San Francisco.

Sunset self portrait with fancypants defocused background:

New cityscape!

And the finished painting, "Path Before Sunset, Bernal Heights"
  (18x24):

painting will debut at my Solo Show July 2013 @ STUDIO Gallery)

I've begun a night version with similar view, but color scheme and focal
points are still in flux. Night skyline from a distance is new territory
and an interesting puzzle. It may pan out or I might move on with
lessons learned. We shall see. Have a great day with family or whatever
you may be doing.

Until next week,
