Dear Subscribers,

My grandpa, Satoru Nishita, passed away. He was a great man and a brilliant designer. His passion for the creative spirit was a factor that led me to pursue a career in architecture. Now I find myself making art, doing exactly what I want to do, and I am very grateful.

Sat's accomplishments as a landscape architect are many, far too many for me to list here.  Instead, I will share pictures of just a few of his amazing designs. You may recognize these places that have touched many lives:

Thanks Grandpa

The reception for my solo show last Sunday was awesome. Here are some pictures:

The show is up at Studio Gallery until August 4th.

Hey FYI, today is the opening reception in the Studio rear gallery for two awesome artists that I was privileged to meet last week: Joevic Yeban and Olivia Chen! Stop by and check out their show, walk past mine on the way.

The setup. Oops, forgot to take a photo of the setup. Skip to first stage:

I know saucers will be in here, but haven't decided on placement yet.
Next stage (time warp, imagine stages in between. Man I'm really slipping in the photo department, huh?):
