Dear Subscribers,

 

Greetings!

 

I've talked about Stephen Pressfield's The War of Art ad nauseam for 4
or 5 years.... So I was freaking freakin' out when I heard that
Pressfield was on Oprah to talk about his work. AWESOME. Everytime
someone reads that book and applies it to their life, the world becomes
a better place. (His historical fiction ain't too shabby either.
Actually, it's damn amazing)

 

As Pressfield would say, "The professional does not wait for
inspiration." On Monday I needed a concept for a new painting. My
favorite way to get one: brisk walking until I have a good one. I wasn't
going to come back home until I had a clear idea. A 2-hour walk did the
trick.

 

New bug still life.

couple cup options. Later I choose the apple, add some slices, shift
