Dear Subscribers,

Greetings!

Yesterday and today is the workshop in my studio. It is going swimmingly and the attendees are doing some great composition and knife-work.

STUDIO Gallery has moved to their new location in SF (1641 Pacific) and they're having a "mini opening"  TODAY 3-6pm! It will be a warmup for their official Debut Exhibit with an opening reception on July 13th 1-6pm.
Look for my new mini "The Grape":

New still life.
I was setting up a still life when I accidentally kicked the black glass vase. I instinctively cursed then looked down and was pleased. It broke nicely. I was thusly inspired. I should destroy more of my props.

The setup:

Pears are kinda ugly but have nice bulbous forms to paint.
